START OF ACADEMIC YEAR AT TKAW:

  • Wednesday 2nd September – Teachers’ training day (No pupils)
  • Thursday 3rd September @ 11am – Only year 7 and year 12 pupils (Finish at 15.10)
  • Friday 4th September Year 7, 11, 12 & 13 @ 8.30am. Year 8, 9 & 10 @ 11.00am (Finish for all pupils at 15.10). From Monday 7th September all Year 7-13 pupils start at 8.30am.

 

FOOD AND DRINKS (All food is nut-free and vegetarian):

  • Year 7 pupils will have FREE hot meal or sandwich for lunch on Thursday 3rd (Cheese & potato pie with beans) and Friday 4th September (Pizza & chips). Pupils can bring their own lunch of course.
  • At break (11.00 – 11.20am) there are toasts, etc available; year 7 can pay by cash and the rest using the cashless system with their cards.
  • From Monday 7th September, year 7 pupils can pay by cash while we sort out their cashless cards. Any Free School Meal pupils will be identified asap (Please be patient as this information might take a few days for us to obtain, but rest assured all your children will have food in the meantime)
  • Year 8 – 13 pupils will use the cashless system to pay with their cards (Please remember to bring; if lost, you need to request it at school asap)
